Accreditation
Accreditation is the independent appraisal of conformity assessment bodies against the international harmonized standards to ensure their impartiality and competence. Accreditation means a certification body is recognised by an independent authoritative body known as accreditation body to offer certification services.
International Certification India (ICI) operates its quality management system in accordance with the latest version of standard ISO/IEC 17021 conformity assessment — requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems and is audited annually by an accreditation body to ensure its services meet the regourous requirements of the relevant standards.
